Who am i…

vegan travel planner having adventures at machu picchu
Hey there! I’m Angie — a map-obsessed, vegan foodie with an insatiable need to see the world. Travel has been in my blood for as long as I can remember, and if you mention a destination I haven’t been to, I’m already researching it.

I’ve been vegan for 8+ years and love tracking down incredible plant-based food wherever I go. I’m also passionate about traveling in a way that’s kind to the planet and easy on the wallet. So far I’ve explored Canada, Mexico, Ireland, England, Italy, and Peru — with France, Greece, and Tanzania coming later this year!

Vegan Travel Challenges

Traveling as a vegan presents significant challenges. As a result, unlike non-vegans, we need to do our fair share of research. I can’t tell you the number of times I have planned my day around the closest vegan restaurant.

This is where I can help. I have been fortunate enough to have had multiple opportunities to travel internationally. I already know a lot of the best local vegan restaurants throughout Europe. And I can’t wait to share them with you!

  • Language & Communication: Not knowing how to express your dietary needs often leads to accidental consumption of dairy, egg, or fish products.
  • Hidden Ingredients: Broth, fish sauce, ghee, and lard are common in international cuisines, making seemingly vegan dishes unsafe. I can help you avoid this.
  • Limited Dining & Options: It’s always a good idea carry a few snacks around! Or perhaps visit a grocery store and cook some meals yourself.
  • Over-Researching: Spending more time searching for food than enjoying the destination. Again, I have already done most of this research for you.
  • Social & Cultural Pressure: Navigating cultural norms that heavily feature meat/dairy. You know, that moment when you realize you can’t eat what is in front of you, but you also don’t want to be disrespectful.

Unique Experiences

Anyone can follow the standard tourist trail — and there’s nothing wrong with that. But if you’re anything like me, you’re always wondering: what else is out there?

I’ve never been content with the obvious choice. When others were lining up for the standard government house tour, I was on a behind-the-scenes route that wound through a hidden prison buried inside. While everyone else checked off another ancient ruin, I was tearing through the Andes Mountains on an ATV with the wind in my face.

That’s just how I travel. I’ve joined a local family for a home-cooked meal in a tiny village with no English spoken, descended into salt mines that doubles as an underground cathedral, and hiked to waterfalls that didn’t appear on a single tourist map. Some of these moments were planned. Many were not. But all of them became the stories I tell over and over again.

This is what I want for you. Not just a trip — but moments that genuinely surprise you. When I plan your itinerary, I’m always hunting for that extra layer: the local gem, the unexpected detour, the experience that makes you say I can’t believe we almost missed that.

The world has so much more to offer than the highlights reel. Let’s go find it.

Many travelers find trip planning and itinerary creation to be one of the most frustrating parts of the process. I truly enjoy finding the perfect, unique travel options. I would love nothing more than to help you plan your trip of a lifetime.

Why use a travel planner instead of a travel agent?

vegans in Paris
  • My whole job is getting to know you — your travel style, what you actually care about, how much you want to spend — and building a trip around that. No cookie-cutter packages, no trying to squeeze you into someone else’s itinerary.
  • Traditional travel agents often get commissions from hotels, tour operators, and vendors, which can quietly shape what they recommend. I charge you directly, which means my only job is to give you genuinely good advice.
  • The best planners also tend to go deep rather than wide. Maybe they know Southeast Asia inside and out, or they specialize in adventure travel or wellness retreats — because they’ve actually been there and built real relationships on the ground.
  • And honestly? Planning a complicated trip takes forever. Comparing flights, researching neighborhoods, cross-referencing reviews… it adds up fast. Handing that off to someone who does it every day is kind of a relief.
